Acromantula Sanctum was created on June 7, 2006 at exactly noon by Lizzie and Lindsey. But where did they get the idea? Well, they have always been great at graphics, but never actually considered opening an actual site. They kind of got in the swing when they were looking over other graphic sites. The idea was brought upon Lizzie to open a site, and she immediately consulted her best friend, Lindsey, to help her with the site. Gladly, the offer was accepted. It took hours for them to restore their actual graphic skills and even longer to download their brushes and fonts. But alas, through hard work and effort, Acromantula Sanctum finally came to be. |

We've wondered ourselves what the name 'Acromantula' means... Well, Lizzie has done some research and the results are astonishing! What did you think it was? Probably not some spider! The Acromantula is a fictional creature. It takes the form of a massive poisonous spider with eight eyes. Acromantulas are covered in thick black hair; they have legspans of up to fifteen feet, as well as giant pincers. Wow! 'Sanctum' is obvious, but I'll give it to you anyways... It is a place of inviolable privacy. Hope that helps! |
